The Young Scholars programme allows students to complete Stage I courses
at the University of Auckland while completing school – it is not a
scholarship and normal tuition fees apply for those courses. The
information requested is publicly available on the University’s website:

The University does not administer the Fees Free scheme but, as per

Dear University of Auckland,

I am a year 13 student. I would like to know the fees per course for the
Young Scholar Programme. Are there any scholarships offered for the Young
Scholar Programme similar to the Waikato's Unistart programme - which
gives the first 2 papers free?

Additionally, are the Young Scholar Programme Eligible for fees free?

I have previously emailed the student support but their response was of no
help whatsoever, and was extremely vague - directing me to check the
website which contained no such information.
