follows.

 

The University has decided to provide the information requested for 2021
General Category MBChB part II graduate applicants, subject to the
following:

 

 1. The GPA, UCAT and MMI score information requested in parts 1-3 of your
request will be provided in bands, rather than as individual scores,
to protect the privacy of the individual applicants under section
9(2)(a) of the OIA.
 2. The University does not hold the median MMI for graduate applicants in
the General Category MBChB for 2021 requested in part 5 of your
request, and is not required under the OIA to create this custom
statistic. This part of your request is refused under section 18(g) of
the OIA.
 3. The linked scores requested in part 4 of your request will not be
provided to protect the privacy of the individual applicants under
section 9(2)(a) of the OIA.
 4. The payment of a charge of $76 for the estimated one hour of
chargeable staff time required to make the information specified above
available, in accordance with section 15 of the OIA and the Ministry
of Justice’s charging guidelines for OIA requests

Before we proceed further with your request, please confirm your agreement
to pay the charge of $76. The charge must be paid in advance, and any
unused component of the charge will be refunded to you after the work has
been completed.  If you agree, I will provide you with information about
how to make the payment. After we confirm receipt of your payment, we
estimate that we will be able to send you the information within two
weeks.

 

You have the right to make a complaint to an Ombudsman if you are
dissatisfied with this response.

Dear University of Auckland,

Please provide the following information regarding domestic applicants to
the MBChB program through the Graduate general admissions category for
2021 entrance.

1. The GPA for every successful general graduate applicant for the MBChB
program. e.g., if 30 students were offered places in the program, what was
the 30 different GPA's?

2. The MMI score for every successful general graduate applicant for the
MBChB program. e.g., if 30 students were offered places in the program,
what was the 30 different MMI scores?

3. The UCAT score for every successful general graduate applicant for the
MBChB program. e.g., if 30 students were offered places in the program,
what was the 30 different UCAT scores?

4. If possible, link every successful GPA with the corresponding MMI and
UCAT score for the MBChB program. e.g., if one of the successful GPA's was
8.5, what was the MMI score and UCAT for this particular GPA.

5. Median MMI score for graduates
