Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,

I understand that Immigration New Zealand issues APEC Business Travel Cards to eligible New Zealand citizens, subject to pre-clearance from other participating economies, and that an interim card can be made available while awaiting pre-clearance from all economies in order to issue a final card.

I would like to request the following information under the Official Information Act:

1) The number of interim APEC Business Travel Cards issued by Immigration New Zealand in each of the previous 3 years.

2) The number of final APEC Business Travel Cards issued in each of the previous 3 years.

3) The number of final APEC Business Travel Cards issued in each of the previous 3 years which were not valid for travel to all participating APEC economies (if any).
