S Hill made this Official Information request to Health New Zealand
Response to this request is long overdue. By law Health New Zealand should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.
From: S Hill
Dear Health New Zealand,
Please answer the following questions in light of/reference to information from OIA request HNZ00005360. https://fyi.org.nz/request/20907/respons...
Specifically, in reference to information received that Pfizer did not test its COVID vaccine for COVID-tranissmision (e.g. reduction in transmission post-vaccination).
Please provide all answers to the following questions under the OIA.
1. Why did the The Ministry of Health and Te Whatu Ora state repeatedly that being vaccinated reduced transmission of the COVID-19 virus?
2. What evidence was The Ministry of Health and Te Whatu Ora acting on when they stated to Government and the New Zealand public that being vaccinated reduced transmission of the COVID-19 virus?
3. What was the reason for locking down society until the threshold of 90% vaccination was achieved if the Vaccine was not proven to reduce transmission of the COVID-19 virus?
Regards
S Hill
