Thank you for your email of 9 May 2023 to the Ministry of Education (the
Ministry) requesting the following information:

 

Further to my request in January, which was duly answered in February,

you please provide an update on the progress for the site acquisition for
the future "Kumeu College".

I would appreciate if you could also supply approximate expected timelines
also.

 

The Ministry remains in discussions with the owners of a preferred site
while due diligence continues.  Further details of these discussions are
withheld at this time under section 9(2)(j) of the Act, to enable a
Minister of the Crown or any public service agency or organisation holding
the information to carry on, without prejudice or disadvantage,
negotiations (including commercial and industrial negotiations).
