Dear Fire and Emergency New Zealand,
I have made a request previously,- OIA 9159 Response to request
May I kindly seek for an update on this and your progress on establish remaining local advisory committees?
the website said, "In March 2023, our Board agreed to Fire and Emergency establishing the nine remaining LACs in 2024.” Do you have a timeline now?
Are there any further communication and memo regards to this matter since my previous OIA request.
Yours faithfully,

Hi John
We refer to your Official Information Act request regarding Local Advisory
Committees. We have been in discussion with the LAC team and they are able
to provide you with a progress update and the proposed timeline of the
establishment of the 9 remaining LACs.
In regards to the part of your request for communications or memos, on our
website we do upload [1]here the LAC meeting minutes, which we know is the
most relevant documents we hold. We also are in possession of the relevant
board papers which discuss the proposed roll out of the remaining LACs.
Would a response including a progress update, proposed timelines and the
relevant board papers satisfy your request?
We look forward to hearing from you in relation to the points above.
Kind regards
