Please supply the data missing in file 202309_Embedded_generation.csv
Nicky McLean made this Official Information request to Electricity Authority
The request was successful.
From: Nicky McLean
Dear Electricity Authority,
Via your organisation's web site https://www.emi.ea.govt.nz/Wholesale/Dat... (one of seven similar sub-directories), monthly files such as 202309_Embedded_generation.csv supply half-hourly data on electrical generation and consumption at various locations. Oddly, this file is noticeably smaller than the files for the previous and following months - and it is not for February. Although there are other differences, both those files contain data with the code sequence ASB0661,EASH,CNIR,H01,I (with records for thirty-one days in each case) but the file for September has no records with that code name. We are now in November, and the file for September shows no sign of having been updated since it was first issued in October.
Could you please supply the missing data for September (all thirty days) for that code, or, if the data have been given a different code name sequence just for that month, identify what it is and where the records are to be found.
Correcting the web site's file 202309_Embedded_generation.csv would mean that this problem would not spread further.
Just out of curiosity, Has anyone else noticed?
Yours faithfully,
Nicky McLean

Dear Ms. Ballinger
Thank you for the response of the 14'th December, arriving one day short of the allowed limit. I see from the timestamp of the revised data file that it was created on the afternoon of the 22'nd of November, the day after the date of the acknowledgement of my request that was sent by Ms. Lisa Duff on the 21'st. I would have thought that communicating this event need not be the effort of weeks, but I suppose there are other matters being dealt with besides mine.
And nobody else noticed the missing data, or saw fit to make a remark? Oh well.
Anyway, thanks for the missing data: a hole will shortly be filled.
Yours faithfully,
Nicky McLean
