Citizenship application since November 2021

Dear Department of Internal Affairs,

I have submitted my application since November 2021 and now it's almost December 2023. All returned emails I have requested are waiting for external checks.

Could you please shed some light on why external checks required almost 2 years to do and my CO seems to have no answer at all.
