On behalf of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment I
acknowledge your email of 4 December 2023 requesting, under the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following:

‘1. Please provide all Standard Operating Procedures SOPs ( Family
Category Parent),  templates and other staff guidance which have the steps
of how a parent resident visa application is processed, assessed/decided
by INZ.

These can be from Global Processing Manual or any other documents too.

You provided similar SOPs for "Assess Eligibility" Parent EOI assessment (
link below). However, my request is for time after ITA has been issued and
applicant has submitted the visa application to INZ and it has been
allocated to the immigration officer.

Please note I do not need the information about allocation process as I
believe it is already covered under the following OIA. My request is for
processing after the  parent category application has been allocated .

Please note that the days from 25 December 2023 to 15 January 2024
(inclusive) are defined as non- working days in the Act and are not
counted in the calculation for the response due date. This may affect the
time period for responding to your request.

 

We will endeavour to respond to your request as soon as possible, and no
later than 23 January 2024, being 20 working days after the day your
request was received. If we are unable to respond to your request by then,
we will notify you of an extension of that timeframe.  If you have any
