Tena Koe John,
I note that your request references “board appointment positions” sent by
the Nominations service.
As an initial point of clarification, can you please confirm whether you
are requesting all emails sent from the Nominations service regarding
board appointments or, regarding board vacancies.
Further to this, you later request “all emails” sent to the nominations
service database from 1st Jan 2023 to 12 Jan 2024. Can you please confirm
whether you are referring to the database as a collective or, if you mean
all emails to any individual part of this database.
Please note, that if you are referring to all emails to any individual
part of this database, this is likely to include substantial collation. In
which case, the Ministry may consider either extending the request, fixing
a charge for the request, or refusing the request under section 18(f) of
the Official Information Act.
Given that this request can be interpreted in different ways, we would
appreciate your clarification.
Kind regards.
