Te Komitianga CCTV and other recording/measuring devices
Adam Parkinson made this Official Information request to Auckland Transport
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Adam Parkinson to read recent responses and update the status.
From: Adam Parkinson
Dear Auckland Transport,
Te Komititaga in the city centre has a number of recording and measuring devices installed on various poles,(many of them are lighting poles).
I counted approx 20 cameras alone.
I would like a list of all the cameras, cctv, anemometers, and any other devices, as there are one or two I don't recognise.
Are there any noise and/or air quality measuring devices, or pedestrian count devices?
I would like to know who has ownership and is reposnsible for each, in short who is recording and collecting the info and data
I understand that some of the equipment may not be owned by AT, but am unsure who owns the poles on which most of the equipment is located.
regards,
Adam Parkinson

Kia ora AT Official Information (AT),
Yes all the equipment on Te Komititanga itself in the city centre, from the both side of the intersections of Queen St and Customs st, and Te Komititanga and Quay St including the immediate surrounds - so there are also instruments on poles on:
Galway Street between the Movenpick Hotel building and Waitemata station,
Tyler St between Endeans Bldg (2 Queen St) and Waitematā station
I would upload an area map but this does not permit it.
