Ohakune Ratepayers and Residents’ Society
[FYI request #25753 email]
Dear Ohakune Ratepayers and Residents’ Society
Thank you for your emails of 16 February 2024 to Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities,
requesting the following information under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act):
Please provide
1/ A copy of DPM meetings #7 onwards, i.e. held in December, January &
February.
2./ Documents & emails relating to the meeting #5 point 2.3 (CIP Funding Report)
where its suggested HUD would meet with KO to go over milestones / delays
3./ Please provide the flood models referred to in point 3.3 of meeting #5
…Just to add to my earlier email today on this OIA.
We have meeting #2 held 8th June 2023
You have provided further minutes and agendas for
31 August 2023
12 October 2023
23 November 2023
If a meeting was held monthly, there should be a record for a meeting in July and
another in September, we certainly appear to be missing one at least from the files
you sent through.
Please find attached the meeting minutes for the Development Parter meetings (DPM) 7
and 8. Some information has been withheld from the minutes under the following sections
of the Act:
• 9(2)(a)
to protect the privacy of natural persons
• 9(2)(g)(i)
to maintain the effective conduct of public affairs through the free and
frank expression of opinions by or between or to Ministers of the Crown or
members of an organisation or officers and employees of any public service
agency or organisation in the course of their duty.
You have now been provided with minutes from all DPM meetings. The minutes for the
July 2023 meeting were included in the meeting pack for meeting 4, which was provided
to you on 16 February 2024. There were no meetings held in September 2023 and
January 2024.
I am declining your request for documents and emails relating to meeting 5 point 2.3
under section 18(e) of the Act, as
“the information requested does not exist or, despite
reasonable efforts to locate it, cannot be found”.
