Dear MaSS info,
This response seems to contradict publicly made comments from the 2017 elected Ardern Government around the use of vans. She made several statements that ministers were directed to use vans.
Also briefings between DIA and the MRMS at the time referenced van trials.
Please re-visit your response in line with this.
Yours sincerely,
Lional Jones

Good Afternoon Lional,
The Department's response remains the same, we do not have any ride-sharing initiatives/polices and there is no correspondence regarding specific initiatives to introduce ridesharing using VIPT vehicles.
If there is a separate request that you would like to make for further information, then you can do so with the [email address] team.
Thanks,
Ministerial Services

I believe this response is false. During the Ardern years there were several references to van use. I also recall early in the Ardern years seeing a briefing or response referencing a trial of ride-sharing using vans from the Beehive to the airport.
