Official Information Act request relating to Stefan Sunde and EY 
 
Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) request, received on 22 July 2024. You 
requested: 
 
“all correspondence with Stefan Sunde (Sunde is a member of the National party board of 
directors) all correspondence mentioning Stefan Sunde or "Stefan" 
Plus, all correspondence about EY (Ernst & Young or Ernst and Young) including: 
any mention of their 'scandal' 
'secret drinking club' 
'PR nightmare' 
'sexual harassment'” 
 
I can advise that neither myself nor my office hold any correspondence with or mentioning 
Stefan Sunde. We also do not have any correspondence mentioning Ernst and Young and their 
“scandal, secret drinking club, PR nightmare or sexual harassment”. I am therefore refusing 
your request under section 18 (e) of the Act as the document alleged to contain the information 
requested does not exist. 
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review my decision under section 
28(3) of the Act.
