I refer to your request for information dated 5 August 2024 for correspondence between Auckland Council and AT 
from January 2023 to 27 July 2024 related to the Pt Chevalier to Westmere Improvements project. 
We have provided all correspondence between Auckland Council and AT as requested. 
We have not provided correspondence in relation to open AT Board meetings or Local Board meetings as this 
information is publicly available. 
We have redacted or withheld any correspondence related to financial, contractual, tendering, private property 
agreements / approvals, legal discussions, privacy, closed AT Board meeting minutes. These are being withheld 
under the following sections of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987: 
−
section 7(2)(a) to protect the privacy of natural persons, including that of a deceased person.
−
section 7(2)(b)(i ) would be likely to unreasonably prejudice the commercial position of the person who
supplied or who is the subject of the information.
−
section 7(2)(c)(i) to protect information which is subject to an obligation of confidence, where the making
available of the information would be likely to prejudice the supply of similar information, or information from
the same source, and it is in the public interest that such information should continue to be supplied.
−
section 7(2)(f) to maintain the effective conduct of public affairs through: the free and frank expression of
opinions by or between or to members or officers or employees of any local authority, or any persons to
whom section 2(5) applies, in the course of their duty;  or the protection of such members, officers,
employees, and persons from improper pressure or harassment.
−
section 7(2)(g) to maintain legal professional privilege.
−
section 7(2)(h) to  enable any local authority holding the information to carry out, without prejudice or
disadvantage, commercial activities.
We have redacted any information outside the scope of your request or unrelated to your request within the 
documents provided. 
With respect to any information that has been withheld, I do not consider there are any other factors which would 
render it desirable, in the public interest, to make the information available 
Should you believe that we have not responded appropriately to your request, you are able to make a complaint to 
the Office of the Ombudsman in accordance with section 27(3) of the LGOIMA and seek an investigation and review 
in regard to this matter.
