How much did RNZ spend on parties or holding events in 2021, 2022, and 2023? Could you break this down by specific events or instances of spending?

So far in 2024, how much has the RNZ chief executive been reimbursed for expenses incurred while undertaking work activity? What were the figures for the entire years in 2023 and 2022?

How much did RNZ spend on staff travel in 2021, 2022, and 2023? Can you provide a breakdown of flights versus other travel? And: how much was spent on business or premium economy flights during these years?

How much has been spent on travel for the RNZ chief executive this year? What were the figures for the entire years in 2023 and 2022?

How much has been spent on travel for members of the RNZ executive team this year? What were the figures for the entire years in 2023 and 2022?

How much did RNZ spend overall on Uber, taxis, or equivalent in 2021, 2022 and 2023?

How much has the RNZ chief executive spent on Uber, taxis, or equivalent this year? What were the figures for the entire years in 2023 and 2022?

Please find attached RNZ's responses to written questions for the
2022-2023 review by the Social Services and Community Select Committee of
Parliament which are publicly available at :

Please see in particular answers to questions 95 to 99 in response to a
number of your inquiries.

 

While these answers do not provide all the detail  you are seeking, our
small Finance department is currently fully committed preparing RNZ's
draft Annual Report and engaging in the annual audit round with external
auditors to provide our 2023-2024 accounts to our Board and Parliament
within statutory timeframes.  For this reason we will need to extend the
deadline for a response to those other aspects of your inquiry for another
month, to Monday November 4, 2024.

 

If you are satisfied with the information contained within the answers to
written questions supplied to you today, could you please confirm that you
no longer seek the additional information.
