Dear Wellington City Council,
Last year I requested an estimate of 2024 "interest only" costs for the year
Unfortunately council could not provide this so I asked for an estimate of best and worst case scenarios - from memory council said it would be $50 - $70m or about that
I have requested interest only costs for the first two quarters of this year and both quarters are likely to exceed your worst case scenario forecasts which again calls into question what is going on over there
Are you able to please provide
- Total interest costs for third quarter 2024
- All of the applications to LGFA for loans this year in 2024 - to include dates, amounts, paperwork, supporting docs etc etc - any and all paperwork that is submitted to the LGFA where you are asking for money
