To whom it may concern,  
 
Thank you for your email I received on 27 October 2024, requesting the following information 
under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
  
“I am writing to formally request any communications via any medium from October 
2024 between you, your staff members employed by Ministerial Services, and the 
following individuals: Kerry Prendergast, Neil Paviour-Smith, Patsy Reddy, Therese 
Walsh, and Fran Wilde… 
This is an Official Information request made via the FYI website.” 
I am refusing your request under section 18(e) of the Act as the document alleged to contain 
the information requested does not exist or, despite reasonable efforts to locate it, cannot be 
found.  
Neither me nor my staff employed by Ministerial Services have had any communications 
with the listed individuals from 1 to 27 October 2024 in my Ministerial capacity.  
You have the right to seek an investigation and review of my response by the Ombudsman, 
in accordance with section 28(3) of the Act. The relevant details can be found on the 
Ombudsman’s website at: www.ombudsman.parliament.nz
