Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request dated 31 October 2024. 
You requested: 
Dear New Zealand Police, I would like to make the following freedom of 
information request 1. The organisational structure of the dignitary protection 
service and the teams within it. please note I am not requesting operational 
information such as names of officers, numbers of staff, division of staff numbers 
etc 
Police has information published externally about the Police management structure, the 
12 districts as well as some of its teams and units, including the Dignitary Protection 
Service (DPS)1. The DPS is headquartered in Wellington at Police National Headquarters 
(PNHQ) and sits within the Tactical Operations Group under the broader Security & 
International division of Police. 
Please note that as part of its commitment to openness and transparency, Police 
proactively releases some information and documents that may be of interest to the 
public. An anonymised version of this response may be publicly released on the New 
Zealand Police website.
