From: TK

Dear University of Otago,

I am requesting the following information for HSFY general category applicants in EACH of the BDS and MBChB professional programs commencing 2025.

1. The minimum and median grade average to secure a first round offer.
2. The number of first round offers granted
3. The distribution of grade averages for those to secure a first round offer (to the nearest 1/7th increment**).
4. The minimum and median grade average to secure a place on the waitlist
5. The number of waitlist spots granted
6. The distribution of grade averages for those to secure a place on the waitlist (to the nearest 1/7th increment**).
7. Finalised UCAT thresholds (MBChB only)

**“to the nearest 1/7th increment” requests that no candidates with distinguishable unrounded averages are reported in the same bracket. For example, a candidate with 626/7 = 89.43 and another with 627/7 = 89.57 shall be distinguishable. Please report at the decimal accuracy that programs consider.

Yours faithfully,

TK
