Dear Auckland Council,
Urgent Complaint Concerning Harassment and Abuse of Elderly Farmers,
I wish to request all communication between Auckland Council and Ministry for Primary Industries regarding Van Den Bogaart properties in Auckland from date 2008 to 2024.
To express my deep concern and formally complain about the actions taken by Auckland Council and the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) regarding the forced closure of a highly productive chicken farm owned by an elderly couple in their 80s. This farm was recognized as one of the highest production facilities in New Zealand, operating with the purest water and maintaining exemplary standards.
1. Coercion of Elderly Parents:
The elderly (mid 80s) not owners no interests were pressured into compliance with the council and MPI, leading to the unjust closure of their farm. This coercion has not only affected their livelihood but also their health and well-being, as highlighted by the distress caused during this process.
2. Judicial Misconduct and Nepotism:
It has come to our attention that there may be a systemic issue of nepotism and bias within the council, as well as improper influence in legal proceedings. A judge noted that there was nothing wrong with the farm, yet undue pressure was applied to these elderly individuals. Additionally, their son was unjustly jailed due to a plea made by his lawyer, despite his insistence on his innocence. This situation reflects a troubling disregard for justice and fairness.
3. Urgent Call for Change:
The ongoing harassment and abuse faced by this family must be addressed immediately. The actions of both the council and MPI/MAF have not only harmed peoples you also set a concerning precedent for how similar cases are handled.
Yours faithfully,
clampett trust on behalf of G Van Den Bogaart
