Thank you for your email dated 11 December 2024 to Te Kaunihera o Pōneke | Wellington 
City Council (the Council) requesting the fol owing information: 
 
•  Al  texts and emails if any, between Mayor Tory Whanau and any Green Party MP since 
taking office. 
•  All texts and emails if any between Nadine Walker and any Green Party MP since 
becoming Mayor Whanau's chief of staff. 
 
Your request has been considered under the Local Government Official Information and 
Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA).  
 
The Council has partly granted your request for information. Where redactions are necessary 
or information withheld, a reason and appropriate grounds under the Act wil  be provided. 
 
However, I do need a little more time to finalise the response. I anticipate a response to be 
sent to you by 20 February 2024, if not sooner. 
 
You have the right, by way of complaint under section 28(1) of the LGOIMA, to request an 
investigation and review of the Council’s decision by the Ombudsman. Information about
