Thank you for your request dated 11 December 2024, to Te Kaunihera o
Pōneke | Wellington City Council (the Council) for the following
information:  

* All texts and emails if any, between Mayor Tory Whanau and any Green
Party MP since taking office.
* All texts and emails if any between Nadine Walker and any Green Party
MP since becoming Mayor Whanau's chief of staff.

Your request is being considered under the Local Government Official
Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA).  
 
This email is to seek clarification on your request. As currently worded,
your request would require the collation and assessment of a considerable
number of documents from the Council’s systems. To enable us to provide
you with a timely response, and in accordance with our obligations under
section 17B of the LGOIMA, we wish to clarify if there is anything
particular you require. If so, the Council recommends refining your
request to be for a narrower scope of information if possible. Should the
request not be refined, it is likely that the request will be refused
pursuant to section 17(f) of the LGOIMA, as the information requested
cannot be made available without substantial collection or research or we
may consider charging for the request. 
 
Refinements can be for a specific period of time, correspondence from an
individual to another individual, memos or reports, documents related to a
street or address or a specific topic of interest etc. 
To enable us to meet our obligations under the LGOIMA, we would be
grateful for your response as soon as possible, but by no later than ​19
December 2024.
Please note, any clarification or amendment of a request is considered to
be a new request for the purpose of calculating the maximum statutory
timeframe for response—see section 13(7) of the LGOIMA.
