INFORMATION REQUEST
On 7 March 2025 you asked for information about the communications between staff and
council members regarding the coffee machine at 90 Devonport Road, Tauranga. Here is our
response to your questions:
1. All communications between elected members and staff regarding coffee
machine lease for 90 Devonport Road
We did an email search for the period 20 July 2024 to 17 March 2025 for the term
‘coffee machine’. The correspondence between internal staff and elected members
can be found in attachment one. Information has been redacted as it is either outside
the scope of your request or for the reasons outlined below.
This request and the response have been considered under the LGOIMA1. Information has
been withheld as follows:
Section 7(2)(a) protect the privacy of natural persons, including that of deceased natural
persons
Section 7(2)(b) protect information where the making available of the information—
(i)
would disclose a trade secret; or
(ii)
would be likely unreasonably to prejudice the commercial position of the person
who supplied or who is the subject of the information
