Dear Kāinga Ora–Homes and Communities,

I am writing to request information under the Official Information Act regarding the recruitment process for Tracey Taylor. Specifically, I would like to know:

1. The employment process that was followed to recruit Tracey Taylor, including any steps, criteria, and decision-making procedures involved.
2. Any information regarding whether Tracey Taylor has had previous work history with CEO Matt Crockett.

Please provide the requested information in accordance with the timeframes set out in the Official Information Act. If any part of this request is unclear or you need further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thanks for raising this.
I had also requested an OIA and only received false information.
Tracey has herself mentioned in her introduction speech to KO staff that she was informally offered the role.
The response you will receive through this OIA will however be that she was recruited through a Recruitment agency.

Furthermore, the CEO has also publicly mentioned that him and the Board Chair go a long way in the Transformation space.
Don't bother doing an OIA as you will only receive false information.
