Jack Jones made this Official Information request to Chris Bishop

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Jack Jones to read a recent response and update the status.

From: Jack Jones

Dear Minister Bishop,

I note that in your release of 4 October 2024 announcing the Residential Development Underwrite (RDU), you make no commitment to a number of developments or homes that will be underwritten and that this will be determined by wider economic conditions and the market.

I request under the Official Information Act 1982 the following information:

1. When the RDU opened for applications?
2. How many applications have been received to date?
3. A breakdown of the applications as they relate to the targeted high population areas of Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Wellington and Christchurch, as well as other areas?
4. How many underwrites has the RDU programme contracted, how many homes are underwritten by development and what is the timeframe for the delivery of those homes?
5. How many FTE staff are working in the RDU programme and how many of those staff have transferred, continue to and/or were working on the BRD or KiwiBuild programmes?

I await your response within 20 working days of the receipt of this
request. If any part of my request is unclear, or if the information is
held by another department or agency, I would appreciate your assistance
in directing this request to the appropriate party.

Yours faithfully,

Jack Jones
