We refer to your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA),
dated 15 April 2016 in which you requested the salary of the executive
team (in bands), and which band applies to which member.

As you will note from CFH’s 2015 Annual Report, CFH only has 16 employees
and discloses employee remuneration in $10k bands, with the majority of
the bands only having one employee allocated against it.  To disclose
which band applies to which executive team member would therefore disclose
the identity of that person.

On this basis, and in accordance with section 9(2)(a) of the OIA, CFH is
withholding the information you have requested in order to protect the
privacy of natural persons.  

CFH notes that you are entitled to make a complaint to the Office of the
Ombudsmen under section 28(3) of the OIA to seek a review of CFH’s
decision to withhold information relating to your request.
