Dear Office of the Prime Minister’s Chief Science Advisor,
On what grounds is a veterinary vaccine considered to have proven efficacy against a virus that is lethal to animals?
What validation testing has to be carried out?
What Standards must be met?
Yours faithfully,
Gary Stephenson

Office of the Prime Minister’s Chief Science Advisor
Dear Mr Stephenson
Thank you for emails.
We haven't responded under the Official Information Act because you have not requested any specific information from us, rather it seems you have requested the support of the Prime Minister's Chief Science Advisor in having the EPA decision on RHDV1-k5 reviewed.
The PMCSA office has not had any input with any government agency regarding this animal vaccine issue - it is not in our current remit.
For your reference, attached is an Ombudsman guide for making OIA request. It is not relevant for our office in this instance as we hold no information on the issue - but you may find helpful in approaching government ministries or agencies.
Regards
