and other legal actions taken against RPAS users by the Civil Aviation
Authority from 2014 - 2017. 

We will endeavour to respond to your request as soon as possible and

Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) Request

I refer to your request submitted via FYI.org.nz on 21 March 2017
requesting information relating to the Civil Aviation Authority’s (CAA)
enforcement of laws, rules and regulations concerning RPAS for the years
2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 to date.

Please find attached the information which is covered by your request.

Please note that names of private individuals have been withheld from the
information provided in accordance with section 9(2)(a) of the Act. This
information has been withheld to protect the privacy of natural persons.
The CAA has considered if public interest in the information outweighs the
ground for withholding and in this instance considers that it does not.

to the Ministry of Justice for collection.

If any RPAS notices were referred to the Ministry of Justice would you
like the CAA to transfer the applicable part of your request to them?

CAA to transfer any part of the request to which the CAA may not hold
information.

The first part of your request did not require this clarification.
