Thank you for your enquiry. The University does not currently have maps
which identify the location and/or type of toilet facilities on each
Campus at present, and I am therefore unable to provide you with this
information as it is not held .

 

I am able to provide you with a Map of the Manawatu Campus and an excel
schedule of the toilet facilities located within each building, please
find this information attached. This schedule identifies (where known) the
toilet facilities in each location.

 

Your comments were very useful, and there is work underway at Massey to
ensure our policies and practices support an inclusive culture and provide
the best possible learning environment for students. I will pass your
message onto our Director of Health, Safety and Wellbeing who is
coordinating the University’s rainbow tick accreditation stream of work.

Dear Massey University,

I'm speaking on behalf of Transcend. As part of our work to ensure the
safety and equity of our trans & gender diverse constituents, we request
maps marked with the locations of all  if any gender neutral toilets on
the Manawatu campus. This information will allow many of our trans &
gender diverse students to better navigate campus life, as bathroom choice
and accessibility can often be a contentious issue for us.
