Dear Anan,
Thank you for your email, received on 15 July 2017. You made the following request, under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA):
Under the provisions of the Local Government, Official Information and Meetings Act, please provide to me (preferably electronically) all correspondence between Christchurch City Council, Christchurch City Council's Multicultural Working Party and Canterbury Migrants Centre regarding the Canterbury Migrants Centre from 02 May 2016 to 30 June 2017.
Additionally, please provide any emails, memos or reports with the Office of Ethnic Communities regarding the Canterbury Migrants Centre
We have decided to extend the timeframe on our response to you by an additional 10 working days, as we need to search through a large quantity of official information, and meeting the original time limit would unreasonably interfere with the Council's operations.
We anticipate being in a position to respond to you in full on or before 25 August 2017.
You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review this extension. Complaints can be sent by email to [email address], by fax to (04) 471 2254, or by post to The Ombudsman, PO Box 10152, Wellington 6143.
Kind regards,
Sean Rainey
