Legal Authorities Used To Allow Staff To Produce "False Documents" and thereby committing fogery
Gregory Soar made this Official Information request to Ministry of Social Development
Response to this request is long overdue. By law Ministry of Social Development should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.
From: Gregory Soar
Dear Ministry of Social Development,
I have been advised by WINZ MSD that fake names have been used by staff when dealing with some clients.
The Crimes Act 1961 s255 makes it clear fake names make the document a "false document".
1.Please provide for me the legal avenues / legislation that SPECIFICALLY PERMITS WINZ MSD the use of "false documents" in any dealings with clients.
The Crimes Act s256 makes it clear that any intention to use a false document that the recipient would believe genuine is forgery at the point of production of that false document wether sent or not.
2. Please provide for me the legal avenues / legislation that SPECIFICALLY PERMITS WINZ MSD the use of "forged" documents in any dealings with clients.
Yours faithfully,
Gregory Soar
