to which your request relates is more closely connected with the functions
of the NZ Transport Agency (NZTA), as the cameras on the motorways are
monitored and managed by NZTA. Accordingly, we have transferred your
request to NZTA for action, pursuant to section 12 of the Local Government
Official Information and Meetings Act 1987.

You can expect to receive a response on your request from NZTA directly,
within 20 working days from 10 April 2018. Their Official Correspondence

Dear Auckland Transport,

 

Please could you make the footage available to the police and let me know
the reference number to quote to them.

 

The accident which involved my personal vehicle and I was driving, occured
on the Northern Motorway this morning 9/4/18 between 0935 and 0944. 
Probably closer to 0942.  The location of the accident was exactly:
36°51'07.0"S 174°45'16.7"E.  This can be copy pasted into google as the
location is difficult to describe.  The accident was northbound and was
before the Wellington St onramp but after the Wellington St bridge, before
the tunnel. 

 

The footage is specifically looking to see if the tail lights were working
on the vehicle that was rear ended and that fled the scene without
stopping.  If you could indicate this to me also that would be great.
