Why did the NZ Private Police Ltd not make it public that they had changed ownership and are now running under the business name of New Zealand Secure Storage Limited ? Is withholding such information against the Law ?

Why are you asking a Minister of the Crown for information about a privately owned company?
Information which is hardly "secret" as it is clearly all available on the Companies Office website.
The company was registered as "NZ Private Police Ltd" in July 1998 and changed its name to "New Zealand Secure Storage Ltd" in May 2018.
The ownership of the *private* company last changed hands in November 2007.
No secret, no illegal withholding of information, and clearly nothing at to do with the responsibilities of the Minister of Police.
