I have several questions, many thanks.
Please link me to the online files or attach the formal job descriptions
for the Council Chief Executive and General Managers, and the current Key

I refer to your email received 12 July 2018. Your request has been
referred to Legal Services for consideration under the provisions of the
Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (“the
LGOIMA”). 

 

Your questions and Council responses are as follows:

 

“Please link me to the online files or attach the formal job descriptions
for the Council Chief Executive and General Managers, and the current Key
Performance Indicators for each position.”

 

Please refer attached for the requested position descriptions (zip file
3899181).

 

“Would you please advise on the timing, and briefly on what the process
is, for amendment to the KPI's of the position of the Chief Executive, and
the General Managers' positions?”

 

The Far North District Council (“FNDC”) is to have the CEO KPIs signed off
and in place by end of July, beginning of August each year. The General
Manager (“GM”) KPIs cascade from the CEO ones.

 

“Finally would you please advise if there is any performance based payment
made to the GM's or Chief Executive, or if salaries are determined
annually without any performance component?”

 

There are no performance payments for the CEO or GMs. FNDC salaries are
determined by the BERL indicator which reflect market indicators and are
budgeted for in the LTP.
