The private security Personnel Licencing authority (PSPLA) is a person appointed under section 87 of the Private Security Personnel and Private Investigators Act 2010
the functions of this person is set out in section 88
and the qualifications in section 89
By way of OIA please provide
1. evidence of the authority existing as a tribunal .
2.any documents discussion papers reports which supports the allegation by the PSPLA that it is a tribunal
3. the previous "Authority " Mr Gill was not a solicitor as he did not hold a practicing certificate , please provide copies of all documentation which consider his ability to hold office despite the requirements of section 89

Official Information Act 1982 request about the Private Security Personnel
Licensing Authority
I refer to your email of 1 August 2018 to Hon Andrew Little, Minister of
Justice, regarding information under the Official Information Act 1982. I
am responding to your letter as the matters you raise fall within my
Minister’s portfolio responsibilities as Associate Minister of Justice.
A response to your request is currently being prepared. However, due to
the requirement for consultation with other parties a response cannot
reasonably be made within the original time limit.
Accordingly, I am extending the time limit for response to this request
for a further 15 working days under section 15A of the Official
Information Act and will respond to you by 24 September 2018.
You have the right under section 28(3) of the Official Information Act to
complain to the Ombudsman, about the decision to extend the time frame for
response to your request.
