Policy measures to mitigate climate change and transition to a low emissions economy
Dr Terrence Loomis made this Official Information request to James Shaw
Response to this request is long overdue. By law James Shaw should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.
From: Dr Terrence Loomis
Dear James Shaw,
Addressing climate change and achieving New Zealand's NDC's under the Paris Agreement, as you have publically stated, is an issue that cuts across most government portfolios and ministries.
I would like to request an inventory of all policy measures and programmes the Government currenty has in place to mitigate climage change emissions, encourage energy efficiency, promote uptake of renewables, reduce dependency on fossil fuels and transition to a low emissions economy.
Yours faithfully,
Dr Terrence Loomis
