On 6 November 2018, we received your Official Information Act 1982 (the
Act) request, for the following information:
1. All information provided to those who registered for and/or attended
the market briefing. This includes all presentations, notes, handouts
and / or talking point for speakers.
2. All notes taken by officials during the market briefing.
3. Any follow up documents or reports prepared by officials for other
officials, ministers and / or briefing participants.
I am writing to advise you we will provide a response but need to extend
the time available by 15 working days to answer your request. The
Ministry’s response will be with you no later than 16 January 2019. The
reason for this extension is due to collation and consultations that are
necessary to make a decision on your request.
Please note that, as defined in the Act, a working day does not cover the
period from 25 December to 15 January. As such, the next working day after
24 December 2018 is 16 January 2019.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of
this decision. Information about how to make a complaint is available at
