Thank you for your email received on January 21 2019. You requested the
following information, under the Local Government Official Information and
Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA):

 

Please provide a list of non-rateable lands (including fully non-rateable

Response:

 

Please find attached a spreadsheet containing information you have
requested. Please note that the spreadsheet lists 0 or 50 under the
Rateable Percentage, so "0" is 100% Non-Rateable (in line with Schedule 1
Part 1) and "50" is 50% Non-Rateable (in line with Schedule 1 Part 2 of
the Local Government Rating Act 2002). You will note that the Section of
the Act information is not included.  The reason for this is that this
detail is not recorded on the Rates system as we can only key the Non
Rateable status as 50% or 100%.  To answer that part would take a
significant amount of time as every account would have to be accessed to
determine the Section in line with the Act. Therefore, after careful
consideration, we are refusing this part of your request, under the
following section of the LGOIMA:

 

-          17(f) – the information requested cannot be made available
without substantial collation or research

 

You have the right to request the Ombudsman to review this decision.
