Please find attached a letter providing the third and final batch of
documents in response to your OIA request of 4 April 2019
(OIA219/19-O-00680), which was transferred to the Office of Hon. James
Shaw on 18 April 2019, for:

·         Advice to the Minister for Climate Change and the Minister for
the Environment on the range of options considered by the Government to
address greenhouse gas emissions.

·         Advice to the Minister for Climate Change and Minister for the
Environment on how failure to address the adverse effects of climate
change may specifically impact Māori and how measures to address climate
change may specifically impact Māori.

·         Engagement with Māori conducted by the Ministry and/or Minister
on the Zero Carbon Bill and New Zealand Emissions Trading Scheme (NZ ETS)
review consultation between April 2018 and March 2019, including
engagement plans and hui minutes.

 

This third batch of documents covers the period 1 October 2018 – 4 April
2019. I would like to apologise for the significant delay in providing
this third batch of documents to you.

 

Due to the number and size of the documents in scope, we are releasing the
material via a Databox (a similar approach that was used for the last two
batches). In line with the previous batches, we will also provide Nicole
Smith access to the Databox at the same time. You should both receive an
automated email with the link for access the material shortly. Please do
