Information about travel use for certain GWRC staff
Hugh Davenport made this Official Information request to Wellington Regional Council
The request was refused by Wellington Regional Council.
From: Hugh Davenport
Dear Wellington Regional Council,
Attention Margaret Meek
I would like to request travel use within the Wellington region for the following GWRC staff members for the month of February 2019. This should include, for each trip
a) mode of transport (for example, but not limited to bus, ferry, train, taxi, uber, private car, bicycle, walking, etc)
b) the cost of that trip, and whether it was funded by GRWC
c) the source and destination of that trip
d) the time taken for that trip (including waiting times for bus/ferry/train/taxi/uber)
e) if possible the reasoning behind the choice for that mode of transport over a cheaper alternative
If some of that information is not available under the LGOIMA, then I request that as much data as possible is released (ie, if source or destination is unknown, then still do mode, cost, time taken, and reasoning of the choice made).
The staff members in question are:
Greg Campbell
Dave Humm
Lucy Matheson
Luke Troy
Nigel Corry
Wayne Hastie
Cr Chris Laidlaw
Cr Barbara Donaldson
Cr Daran Ponter
Cr Roger Blakeley
Cr Jenny Brash
Cr Penny Gaylor
Cr Sue Kedgley
Cr Ken Laban
Cr Chris Laidlaw
Cr Prue Lamason
Cr Ian McKinnon
Cr David Ogden
Cr Adrienne Staples
Cr Paul Swain
Yours faithfully,
Hugh Davenport

Dear Wellington Regional Council,
Attention Margaret Meek
I would like to add the following staff to this request (as the list was based off names on http://www.gwrc.govt.nz/Management-team-2/, http://www.gwrc.govt.nz/regional-transpo..., and http://www.gwrc.govt.nz/sustainable-tran..., and appears to not include all the general managers).
Greg Pollock
In addition, if Wayne Hastie is not the GM for public transport as per http://www.gwrc.govt.nz/Management-team-2/, and was not GM for public transport at any point since July 2018, then I do not need his travel information. If there are names in the original list that do not have anything to do with public transport since July 2018, please let me know and I can take them off the list (but also may add others in place).
Yours faithfully,
Hugh Davenport

Unsure whether this has been extended, they haven't given which ones exactly...
From: Hugh Davenport
Dear Wellington Regional Council,
While I met with Greg Pollock today, this was not discussed, and I would still be interested in the information. Please note that any new staff (such as Greg Pollock possibly dependant on when he started) I do not require information about their travel use prior to employment with GWRC for that month.
Yours faithfully,
Hugh Davenport
