Thank you Emma,

Your reply relies on “Link to” a ANZSCO 2013 classification, this does not mean they are ANZSCO 2013 classification. This is misleading to the Public of New Zealand.

For example ACC WTDS 611399 - Customer Service Rep, ANZSCO level 2. (you are saying this is linked to a ANZSCO Sales Classed skill level 4). Based on the huge difference in skill rating, then the roles are completely different

Please provide e a list of the ACC WTDS which are “LINKED TO” ANZSCO 2013 classifications, please exclude the WTDS that are actual ANZSCO 2013 classification.

To avoid any confusion, example: ACC list five WTDS with classification no. 611399, they are

4x Sales Types with Skill Level 4, “These Are” ANZSCO 2013 listing, also found on abs.gov.au

Vs

1x Customer Service with Skill Level 2, LINKED TO ANZSCO 2013 classifcation 611399 skill level 4.

I also expect OIA REQUEST for internal documents.

Stats NZ have recently confrmed by email to me there is No 611399 Customer Service Rep classifcation, furthermore skill level 2 does not fit in the order of progession.

If you still need to clarify pleae ask.

I refer to your 16 April 2019 request, in which you have requested the
following information under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act):

 1. “Please provide e a list of the ACC WTDS which are “LINKED TO” ANZSCO
2013 classifications, please exclude the WTDS that are actual ANZSCO
2013 classification.
 2. I also expect OIA REQUEST  for internal documents.”

 

Work Type Detail Sheets

The information to answer your first question is available publicly on the
ANZSCO and ACC website. The ANZSCO website can be accessed through:
[1]https://www.abs.gov.au and the ACC work type detail sheets can be
access through:

As the Work Type Detail Sheets can be access and compared on line, we will
not be providing you with a list of the ACC Work Type Detail Sheets that
are linked to the ANZSCO 2013 classifications. This decision is made under
section (18)(d) of the Act.

 

If you are not happy with this response, you have the right to make a
complaint to the Ombudsman. Information about how to do this is available
at [3]www.ombudsman.parliament.nz or by phoning 0800 802 602.

 

Request for internal documents

ACC needs to clarify the specific details of this part of your request
before it can made a decision under the Act. Please clarify exactly what
the subject of the internal documents is, that you are after.

For example are you after all policy documents in relation to the use of
ANZSCO Work Type Detail Sheets?

 

Please also state the time frame you are after for the documents, for
example 3 years or five years.

 

Please reply by Wednesday 24 April clearly outlining the internal
documents you are requesting, and the time frame for the documents. The
Act allows a 20 working day timeframe for an agency to make a decision on
a request it has received. Once ACC has received a response to this
clarification, the 20 working day response time may start again.

Hi Emma,

Ive been in contact with abs.gov.nz, one of there comments as follows, this relates to WTDS 611399;

“Iam not sure why ACC have instituted a level 2 skill level for any customer service/sales rep positions as ANZSCO has them at skill level 4, or skill level 1 if they are a technical sales rep position (225411, 224512 and 224599). Also your AIINZ qualification would be at a minimum level 3 but the additional experience would justify level 2 for classification purposes. But what ANZSCO does not take into account are the competencies and employability skills that the worksheets describe and whether that has influence the ACC position I do not know”

In a previous OIA request i asked for the documents from the consultants ACC used to create this WTDS, i was advised the papers from 2013 are lost, so now Iam asking for ACC internal documents relating to comissioning of these consultants and any other document the relate to these WTDS.

Or.

Please provide a list of documents ACC have in relation to these WTDS.
