Dear Christchurch City Council,
I would like to request the following information under the LGOIMA::
* all expense information (including but not limited to credit card statements, invoices, reimbursement forms and receipts) for business expenses incurred by your CEO for the period 1 September 2011 to 31 December 2011.
In anticipation of any attempt to refuse on privacy grounds, or to charge, I direct your attention to the Ombudsman's newly-released guideance on "Chief executive expenses" (http://www.ombudsmen.parliament.nz/image...), which states that "in most cases, chief executive credit card statements and expense reimbursement claims should be made available with the minimum necessary redactions and at no cost to the requester."
I would prefer to receive an electronic response. Queries about this request will be automatically forwarded to me by the fyi.org.nz website.

Joshua Grainger left an annotation ()
They didn't answer the request fully - no receipts were included. Would be interesting to see what exactly was brought during some of those rather expensive dinners. I'd send them a follow up, or complain to the Ombudsmen.
