We understand that some of these data items may not be available, or may be in a slightly different format to what is requested above. We respectfully request you provide us with whatever is available in whatever format is most convenient.
Current Availability
We recognise that this information may currently be available either;
(a) in hard copy form at your offices or;
(b) via your website
Data available via your website is not possible for us to obtain whilst still following the Terms of Use you have made available, which prevent automated means of access and republication.
Data available in hard copy form is not easily transferable or updatable. As you store the information in Electronic form before producing the hard copy, we ask you provide us a copy of the Electronic form of this data.
Automated Retrieval
If granted exceptions from any Terms of Use or Copyright restrictions preventing us from doing so, we are more than happy to work with you to build an automated retrieval system which will create a database of some of the requested data. We will liase with you as necessary to ensure this doesn’t impact the availability of any of your services. We have suggested this simply as a means to make providing the requested data easier for you - we are happy to work with you in order to accomplish this with a minimum of effort and disruption.
Pre/Post Processing and Formats
We understand that there might be significant effort involved in either pre- or post- processing of the requested data. We are not requesting processing of any kind - we are happy to accept data in any readable format - preferably non-binary and non-proprietary, but where this is impractical we are happy to accept those formats.
To reiterate; we are happy to accept data in the exact format in which you store it (or make it available via your own website) - hence there should be no requirement for significant data processing.
Delivery
We are happy to accept delivery in any Electronic format - we can provide Courier Bags and DVDs, an FTP system, or any other acceptable delivery format as requested by you. We wish to make providing this information to us as easy as possible.
Privacy Concerns
We are happy to discuss and enact any requirements you have regarding Privacy. As all of the information requested is readily available through other means, we anticipate no issues in this regard.
