I am looking at two incorporated societies
1. 212301 now : SPCA AUCKLAND HORSE WELFARE AUXILIARY INCORPORATED previously
a. INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE FOR THE PROTECTION OF HORSES (NEW ZEALAND) INCORPORATED 11-NOV-2008
b.HORSE PROTECTION SOCIETY OF NEW ZEALAND INCORPORATED 23-MAY-1990
2.460861 INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE FOR THE PROTECTION OF HORSES (NEW ZEALAND) INCORPORATED Registered 23rd May 19901st May 2000
It would appear from the dates given on the society’s web site that both these societies existed at the same time with the same name which in reality is not a possibility .
Under the Official information act I would like to obtain documents which would seek to clarify the name discrepancy of these two societies and believe that the documents listed on the web site of society 212301 may provide some answers.
By way of OIA Could you please provide any documents which record or support the name change of society number 212301 to INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE FOR THE PROTECTION OF HORSES (NEW ZEALAND) INCORPORATED .
