Expenditure on Curam Projects
Michael Koziarski made this Official Information request to Ministry of Social Development
The request was partially successful.
From: Michael Koziarski
Dear Ministry of Social Development,
As per my previous request for information, I'm attempting to gather information concerning the ministry's expenditure on the Curam client management platform.
The response to my previous request indicated that the ministry has delivered a variety of separate Curam projects which have been priced, scoped and delivered separately. The original media release from 2006[1] concerned a single project consisting of multiple phases delivered over 'several years', I would like to have the same information concerning the subsequent projects.
As a result I request the following information about each and every project undertaken on the Curam platform since 2006. This should include projects which have been completed, projects which are currently underway, projects signed-off but yet to be started and projects which have been cancelled without being completed.
* The business case document describing the estimated cost, estimated timeframes and intended scope which was presented to the relevant management committee for sign-off.
If the project is completed I also request the following information:
* The actual expenditure on the project and the actual completion date.
* Any project completion documentation which describes any material changes in scope for the project prior to completion
If the project is underway I also request the following information:
* The actual expenditure to date on the project
* The estimated expenditure remaining to complete the project
* The estimated completion date.
If the project has been cancelled I also request the following information
* The actual expenditure on the project up to and including any costs associated with cancelling the project
* Any documentation presented to the relevant management committee concerning the reasons for cancelling the project
* Any documentation presented to the relevant management committee concerning the alternative strategies for achieving the original strategic goals of the project.
As with my earlier requests, for each item requested above please ensure the total costs include both capital expenditure & operational expenditure on the relevant phase. Capex and Opex can be itemised separately or you can provide a combined number, whichever is easiest.
I do not require vendors to be identified, feel free to anonymise or redact them. For the expenditure figure I do not require a breakdown of expenditure by vendor, or internal vs external expenditure breakdowns, the total expenditure across all vendors and internal costs will be sufficient.
Warmest regards,
Michael Koziarski

Hi,
Could you please provide me with an estimated timeframe for your response to my request for "Expenditure on Curam Projects" dated July 19 2013. As it stands now the initial request was made more than 90 days ago and I've yet to receive either a response or an indicative date when I can expect I response.
This is clearly outside the statutory limits regarding response times. If you don't provide the information requested within the next 10 working days I'll have no choice but to refer the matter to the Ombudsman.
All the best,
Michael Koziarski
