david skyrme made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police
The request was partially successful.
From: david skyrme
Dear New Zealand Police,
can you please provide me with all reports memos letters notes advice and emails related to the complaint at the Kawakawa police station Ref: 100220/5896. if information needs to be witheld i would like to request that, where possible, excisions are made rather than witholding the full document. Please let me know if you want me to clarify my request.
I would prefer to receive the resonse by post.
For the purpose of OIA section 12 i am both a citizen of NZ and in NZ which satisfies the requirements. I am happy to provide evidence of this if you provide a direct email address. I am not willing to submit to presenting myself at a police station with suitable identification as this is not a requirement for anyone making an OIA request. I am also unwilling to fill out a specific OIA request form. As the office of the ombudsman have made clear on a number of occasions, valid OIA requests are possible through any and all official channels for a department, extending as far as twitter and facebook accounts.
Yours faithfully,
david skyrme
