Respected sir, We are recently married couple in India and have applied for partner based visitor visa. It has been more than 4 months since I have applied and has been no response till date.

I have also pointed out to the immigration about my wife's health situation (she had her eye surgery and needed great support from me and we are also facing tremendous pressure back from both our families. It is really night mare to pass each day until we get the visa and moreover it is just visitor visa taking more than 4 months.

The below is one of the cover letter I had submitted to the immigration, but there has been no response and the call centre is just saying it will be issued this month end when ever we call and it is highly frustrating to explain our families. We are facing a serious problems and just to issue a visitor visa it has taken this long ? and there is no forecast
of when we will get our visas ? I request if a date can be forecasted/provided to settle the mind and ensure we are considered for entry.

"Morning officer,

This email is with regards to the application# A1212279, I have already informed you that my wife has undergone her eye surgery and she must be taken care without depression or undergo some social or mental damage.

We have been apart for very long time since our marriage till today due to non-issuance of visa, and my wife is undergoing severe depression and she is not able to live in India alone without me which is causing her into depression.

Undergoing depression might deeply hurt/damage her eyes especially when she cries it impacts her nerves and potentially damage her eye sight again and it also creates high level of headache sensations when in depression caused due to undergoing social/mental damage. Apart from all these, me and her are facing severe social stigma and family pressure being apart for so long because of visa. Please do consider the priority based on the health grounds, I really don’t want to face the repercussions of this issue if she damages her nerves or eye sight due to the depression of not getting the visa and being away from husband for so long. It has been more than 3 months now from the date of the application for visitor visa.

I would really please you and kindly request you to please consider this as a priority and issue the visa at the earliest possible. I cannot bear my wife to undergo depression and face severe troubles with her eyes in future. I request you to please consider this issue as priority and issue the visitor visa at the earliest.

I can confirm that my wife has now recovered well from her surgery and she has no further complications. Please request you to forecast/provide us with a date of visa issuance.
