days are needed due to the potential workload involved in answering your

licensing and certification criteria to minimise the risk of young
children choking on food. In line with section 15(1AA) of the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act), the deadline for a response from us to
respond to your clarified request will be 7 February 2019.

·        Your request for “the evidence the Ministry of Health relied on
to substantiate its draft guidance to minimise food related choking risks
in early learning services as published on the Education Conversations
website” has been transferred to the Ministry of Health for response under
section 14(b)(ii) of the Act, as it is more closely connected to its
functions. The due date for a response will also be 8 February 2019, and
you can expect to hear from the Ministry of Health shortly. If you have
