Dear Mr Sweeney,
Firstly I would like to sincerely apologise for the Ministry's delayed
response to you. Your request was not logged appropriately and therefore
it was not actioned. This was an error on our part and I hope our lack of
response has not caused you too much inconvenience.
Unfortunately, the Ministry does not hold this data and therefore cannot
provide it. We are checking with NZ Police to see if they can supply you

it, and as soon as we have a definitive answer I will get back to you.
Once more, please accept my apologies for the delay.
